Scope and Contents

The document is a response from Carl Albert, a Congressman from Oklahoma, to Robert Goombi, Chairman of the Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache Tribal Business Committee. Goombi had sent a letter to Senator Kerr regarding several cases pending in the Solicitor's Office, including a contract with an attorney, title to property, tribal constitution amendments, and an estate case. The Committee had passed a resolution authorizing legal representation, but the contract was disapproved by the Area Director. The document also includes the resolution passed by the Committee.
