Scope and Contents
George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, is writing to Commissioner Fred W. Johnson of the General Land Office regarding a letter he received from Mr. Eula Phillips about land at Wellton, Arizona available as homesteads for veterans of World War II. Phillips also inquired about whether this benefit would be in addition to other G.I. benefits. Schwabe is requesting a reply from Johnson on this matter, along with the return of Phillips' letter.
