Scope and Contents
The Regional Solicitor in Tulsa received a letter from Mr. LeForce objecting to the distribution of funds from the estate of Hamma, a deceased Choctaw. Mr. LeForce plans to file a lawsuit seeking confirmation of his claim to the property and reimbursement for taxes and litigation costs. The Regional Solicitor recommends no disbursement until the District Court makes a decision, and copies of the correspondence are being sent to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs.
