Scope and Contents
The letter is a response to Senator Harris regarding a communication from Mr. Sim L. Liles concerning his efforts to assist Mr. John Johnson. The Bureau of Indian Affairs has advised that they have no objection to the distribution of certain monies to Mr. Johnson and Mr. LeForce, but disbursement will be delayed until the Stephens County District Court has acted in a proposed proceeding.
