Myrtle Johnson wrote a letter to Senator Fred R. Harris requesting a grant from the Federal Government for the Bunch Industrial project in Obla. Senator Harris responded positively, stating that he is giving consideration to the project and will continue to promote it to eliminate poverty conditions in Adair County.
