Scope and Contents
The Improved Order of Red Men, a fraternal organization celebrating its 200th anniversary, is concerned about various issues threatening Americanism, including draft dodging, anti-government demonstrations, Supreme Court decisions, tax burdens, lack of citizen interest in government, and international tensions. They resolve to support President Lyndon B. Johnson's actions in Vietnam, encourage the government to address these issues, and send a copy of their resolution to the President, Vice President, Cabinet members, and Congress.
