Scope and Contents
Miss Roxie Plumlee contacted Fred R. Harris regarding the level of discipline at Fort Sill Indian School. Harris contacted officials in Oklahoma and Washington, who expressed interest and recommended speaking with Area Director Leslie Towle. Harris encouraged Plumlee to have a frank conversation with Towle and report back to him. Harris expressed sympathy but was hesitant to intervene without firsthand knowledge of the situation.
