Scope and Contents

The letter is addressing the restoration of funds for the BIA extension contract with OSU that had been deleted in the Administration budget. The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Indian Affairs authorized the restoration of $100,000, and it is expected that equal or additional funds will be restored in the Senate Appropriations bill. Senator Fred R. Harris appreciates the views of the WA Pe He Home Demonstration Club and will continue to work for the Indian people of Oklahoma.
