Scope and Contents
Senator Fred R. Harris is concerned about proposed budget cuts to the Interior Department, which would reduce funding for the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service's educational program for less developed Indian families in Oklahoma. He is requesting that appropriations be restored to the budget to continue providing benefits to the Indian families and professional Extension agents working in the state.
