Fred P. Schonwald wrote a letter to Senator Fred R. Harris asking for clarification on the percentage of Indians living in Oklahoma. Schonwald had been using one-third based on information from a book, but Harris had stated that three-fourths of Indians live in Oklahoma. Schonwald requested updated and accurate information on this matter.
