Scope and Contents

The Anadarko Area Office received a letter from Senator Fred R. Harris regarding Mr. Walker Myers' application for a U.S. Direct loan. Mr. Myers applied for a loan for refinancing and farming operations, but the office determined that he would not be able to repay the loan within a reasonable timeframe. Mr. Myers' lack of real estate and previous issues with compliance also contributed to the decision to deny his application. The office advised Mr. Myers to work out financing arrangements with his current creditors. Senator Harris was informed of the decision.
