Correspondence Regarding the Potential Closure of Eufaula Indian Boarding School, 1949, 1949-01-18
Scope and Contents
The letter is from Mr. W. J. Escoe to Honorable Carl Albert, expressing concern that no funds have been allocated for the Eufaula Boarding School for the fiscal year of 1950. Mr. Escoe requests that Representative Albert do everything possible to restore these appropriations to prevent the school from closing, as it is the only school for the Creeks and serves underprivileged children.
