Scope and Contents

The document is a letter from Otho Fields, President of The Bank of Red Oak, to Hon. Carl Albert, regarding the construction of a road from Red Oak to Talihina. They have been trying to get this road built for several years and believe that the U.S. Indian Service could help with the project. They are seeking Albert's assistance in getting the road construction started as soon as possible.
