Correspondence Regarding Land Rights and the Disposition of Segregated Coal and Asphalt Lands, 1949-07-18
Scope and Contents
The document is a series of letters regarding the desire of Mr. Clarence H. Eller, Jr. to retain the right to occupy certain lots in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. The lands were sold to the United States and the administration of the lands is under the Bureau of Land Management. The preparation of deeds for the land will take some time, and Mr. Eller will be given the opportunity to preserve his leases. The status of the land will be further advised once a report is received from the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes Agency.
