Scope and Contents

Mrs. Juanita Harrison wrote a letter inquiring about payments to the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes, as the Creeks had not received any money. Carl Albert, a congressman, responded explaining that the payments were only for members of the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes, and suggested contacting the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes Agency for more information on payments to the Creek Nation.
