Scope and Contents

Katherine Monroy, a descendant of full-blood Choctaw Indian, is facing the threat of losing part of her family's restricted Indian land in a lawsuit brought by non-Indian neighbors. She believes the lawsuit is unjust and highlights the involvement of the Chief of the Choctaw Nation and his attorney, who are siding with the non-Indian plaintiffs. Monroy is seeking support and attention to the unfair situation her family is facing.
