Scope and Contents

The Stigler bill proposes a $3 million revolving fund to provide long-term loans and grants to help improve the living conditions of Native Americans, many of whom are currently on relief and living in substandard conditions. The bill aims to help these individuals build a self-supporting economy and has widespread support among members of the Five Civilized Tribes and organizations advocating for Native American welfare.
