Scope and Contents

Congressman Carl Albert announced plans to seek the enactment of three bills in the field of Indian affairs in the next Congress. The first bill aims to extend restrictions on members of the Five Civilized Tribes, the second bill reopens the right to file claims before the Indian Claims Commission, and the third bill promotes the rehabilitation of members of the Five Civilized Tribes and other Indians of eastern Oklahoma.
