Scope and Contents

Congressman Albert successfully pushed for an appropriation bill to settle old treaty obligations with the Choctaw Tribe for $350,666.67. The bill has been passed by Congress and signed into law by the President. The Indian Office will soon hold an election to determine the Choctaw's decision on the matter, which will benefit over ten thousand Indians in Southeastern Oklahoma.
