Scope and Contents

Congressman Carl Albert introduced bill H.R. 6209, which allows Choctaw Indians to vote on a settlement of treaty payments to receive a lump sum amount. If approved by a majority vote, funds will be distributed to enrolled Choctaws and their heirs.
