Scope and Contents

Congressman Carl Albert met with officials from the Indian Affairs department to discuss procedures for making per capita payments to the Choctaws and Chickasaws. Superintendent Roberts will set up an office in Masimagee to handle the payments, with the first checks expected to be sent out in July for $350 each to enrolled members. Payments will only be made after checks are sent out to living enrolled members.
