The Wald Manufacturing Co. Incorporated wrote to Honorable George B. Schwabe and Honorable Joe B. Bates expressing their concerns about the proposed Fair Employment Practice Act (H.R. Bill No. 2232), stating that they believe it will be destructive and create grief, trouble, and dissatisfaction. They argue that people are happiest and more content when they can live among their own nationality and race.
