Scope and Contents

Mrs. Anna E. Webb wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe requesting copies of H. R. 1425 and H. R. 2232. The document was acknowledged by his secretary, Camille M. Garneau, who informed Mrs. Webb that the Congressman was currently on recess but she would bring the letter to his attention upon his return to Washington, D. C. Mrs. Webb expressed her concerns about H. R. 2232 and her intention to work against its passage.
