Opposition to the Fair Employment Practice Act, 1945-05-22
Scope and Contents
The author, R. A. Krumme, expresses opposition to the "Fair Employment Practice Act" bill, arguing that it would give too much power to a bureau to penalize individuals unfairly. He believes that it goes against the principles for which American soldiers are fighting and urges Honorable George Schwabe to stop the bill from becoming law. Krumme also calls for the elimination of unnecessary federal and state employees and expresses support for President Truman in cancelling unnecessary bureaus.
