Protesting the Sonic Boom Tests, 1964-02-26
Scope and Contents
The letter is from Mr. Hardcastle to the Federal Aviation Agency protesting the continuation of sonic boom studies in Central Oklahoma. He states that the tests are causing physical damage to his home, but he does not intend to file a claim for damages. He has also protested to various government officials to stop the tests. The FAA had promised fair consideration of damage claims before conducting the tests. Mr. Hardcastle is sending a copy of his letter to the FAA and a pamphlet prepared by the FAA to the recipient for their information.
