Response to Concerns Over Sonic Boom Studies in Oklahoma City, 1964-03-05

Scope and Contents

Mrs. Elizabeth Duskin has complained about the sonic boom studies being conducted in Oklahoma City by the Federal Aviation Agency. The FAA has promised to address complaints and pay for damages. Civic leaders in Oklahoma City support the testing as they believe it will benefit the aviation industry and give Central Oklahoma an advantage. The FAA has issued a pamphlet addressing the program in response to public reaction. Mrs. Duskin is unhappy about the booms causing damage to her home and wants them to stop.
