Mrs. Bishop wrote a letter expressing concerns about the sonic boom studies being conducted in Oklahoma City. The Federal Aviation Agency assured that they would address complaints and pay damage claims. Civic leaders supported the testing to benefit the aviation industry. The FAA issued a pamphlet in response to public reaction. Mrs. Bishop shared her personal experience of damage to her house caused by the sonic booms and urged for action to stop them.
