Scope and Contents

This is a memorandum from Sidney L. McFarland, Chief Clerk and Staff Director, regarding the approval of bill H.R. 10330 by the Subcommittee on Indian Affairs. The bill provides for the distribution of judgment funds to the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. The Secretary of the Interior is authorized to distribute the funds to eligible tribe members, with provisions for distribution to heirs, minors, and non compos mentis individuals.
