Scope and Contents

The President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is challenging members of Congress to spend two days a year working in small or medium-sized businesses or doctor's offices to experience firsthand the challenges and costs of federal mandates. The majority of Chamber members are small businesses struggling with paperwork burdens, costing the economy nearly $700 billion annually. The Chamber is offering to help members of Congress find an employer to work with and will compile a report on their experiences.
