Scope and Contents
A letter from Carl H. Schwartz, Jr., Chief of Resources and Civil Works Division, to Cyrus R. Vance, Secretary of the Army, discussing recommendations by the Bureau of the Budget for the modification of the Broken Bow Reservoir Project. The Bureau of the Budget recommended modifications including hydroelectric power, fish and wildlife, and recreation. The Bureau had no objections to submission of the report to Congress but could not commit to a timeline for construction based on budgetary considerations.
