Letters Advocating for Increased Funding for Multiple Sclerosis Research in 1953, 1952-02-02
Scope and Contents
Two letters written to George B. Schwab requesting an appropriation of eight million dollars for the 1953 budget for the National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Blindness in order to aid persons afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis. Both letters express the urgency of funding for research and study to find a cure or aid for the disease, as well as the hope that has been brought to those affected by previous appropriations. The letters urge Schwab to support the increased appropriation in the 1953 budget.
