Mrs. Murray E. Sprague is writing to Mr. Schwab about her interest in the activities of the newly formed National Blindness Institute and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She is hoping for progress in finding a cure or help for multiple sclerosis, an affliction that affects many in her community. She mentions an appropriation of eight million dollars for the Institute in 1953 and requests Mr. Schwab's careful consideration of this important matter.
