The letter is a response to Miss Shinkle's concerns about the Departmental supervision over the Osage Tribe of Indians in Oklahoma. The writer, George B. Schwabe, M.C., expresses his views on the Basone bill and sends a copy of the Congressional Directory for reference. Miss Shinkle also mentions concerns about foreign aid and tax money being used for unnecessary purposes. She requests Senator Schwabe's help in the matter.
