Support for H.R. 3962: A Call for Justice, 1951-01-01 - 1951-12-31
Scope and Contents
The Young Democrats of Oklahoma City University are urging Representative George B. Schwabe to support a bill (H.R. 3962) that would grant citizenship to Mrs. Marie B. Gutierrez, the daughter of a German immigrant who fought for the United States in the Spanish-American War. Despite being well-educated and of good moral character, Mrs. Gutierrez has been denied citizenship. The Young Democrats believe she deserves citizenship and urge Representative Schwabe to uphold the traditions of the Democratic Party and American patriots.
