Scope and Contents
The letter is from Mrs. L.W. Hubbell to George B. Schwabe, expressing approval of a recent address by Ex-President Hoover. Mrs. Hubbell also suggests that Mr. Hoover should replace Mr. Acheson as Secretary of State, as she believes his advice and suggestions are sound and respected by the public. She urges Mr. Schwabe to endorse Mr. Hoover's proposals for national unity and leadership.
