The Cost of Foreign Policy: A Letter from a Concerned Citizen, 1951-04-26
Scope and Contents
The letter from Mr. Dale H. Watt to Representative George B. Schwabe expresses concern about the amount of support and aid the United States has given to Great Britain, particularly in times of war. Watt questions the financial burden placed on American taxpayers and suggests that it is time for Great Britain to pay back the money they owe. He also raises concerns about the lack of consideration shown by Great Britain and calls for a more equitable distribution of resources in times of conflict.
