Addressing Foreign Policy Concerns: A Call for Action, 1951-02-22
Scope and Contents
The document is a letter from George B. Schwabe, a Member of Congress, responding to a telegram from J.T. Rogers expressing dissatisfaction with the national administration's spending of taxpayers' money on foreign aid. Schwabe explains that impeachment proceedings against President Truman and forcing Dean Acheson's resignation are not feasible and may not improve conditions. He suggests that the matter should be decided in 1952 and thanks Rogers for his interest.
