Supporting Our Troops: A Call for Legislation, 1945-09-14
Scope and Contents
Mr. John W. Hennessey wrote a letter to George B. Schwabe, M. C. requesting a copy of bill HR 4064, which Schwabe introduced in the House. Schwabe responds that the bill has not been granted a hearing by the Committee on Military Affairs and may not be reported out as it is not favored by military leaders. However, he appreciates Hennessey's interest and sends a copy of the bill, stating he will continue to fight for the interests of soldiers.
