Demand for Truth and Justice: A Letter to Congress, 1945-01-08

Scope and Contents

The letter is written by T-5 Quenton Clinic on behalf of himself and his fellow soldiers who are unhappy about reports that they will be detained overseas for three months despite assurances from top military leaders that combat veterans would be released by March 1946. They feel it is unfair and demand to know the truth and be allowed to return home promptly.
