Fight for Discharge: A Father's Plea, 1945-11-15
Scope and Contents
Mrs. Sturm wrote a letter to Representative Schwabe urging him to vote for a bill to release fathers from the Army. Representative Schwabe responded, stating that he had already introduced a bill to that effect and is sympathetic to her situation as a father of four men in the service. He promised to continue fighting for the boys' discharge until the job is accomplished.
