The letter is from George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, to Mrs. F. Hill in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hill had written to Schwabe about her son who is in the service and needed at home with his child. Schwabe had tried to pass a bill to bring fathers like Mrs. Hill's son home, but was facing opposition from the military. He offers to help Mrs. Hill if her son is experiencing serious illness or hardship. Mrs. Hill also writes a note to Schwabe asking for his help in bringing her son home.
