Scope and Contents

Reverend Clark M. Oursler writes to Honorable George B. Schwabe expressing concern over the treatment of conscientious objectors to military service by Selective Service. Schwabe acknowledges the seriousness of the issue but states that the laws regarding conscientious objectors are unlikely to change in the near future. Oursler urges Schwabe to take action to protect the liberty of conscience for these individuals.
