Scope and Contents

Mrs. Sybil Donnelly writes to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing concern about the treatment of soldiers in the military, particularly regarding sending European theater soldiers to the Pacific front and the training of 18-year-old soldiers. Congressman Schwabe responds, assuring Mrs. Donnelly that changes may be made and that there are plans to support soldiers' education through the G.I. Bill of Rights.
