Scope and Contents

Mrs. Charles A. Gibbs wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe, expressing concern about the lack of training for 18-year-old boys before they are put into combat service. Congressman Schwabe agrees with her and mentions his own son who was sent overseas without much training.
