Scope and Contents

George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, expresses his views on important legislation, such as the OPA extension bill and the Reciprocal Trade Agreement, to C. E. Buchner, the Executive Manager of the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Schwabe mentions that he has not received much feedback from oil operators in his district on these issues and offers to write an article for a magazine on the importance of oil operators communicating with their Congressmen about proposed oil legislation. Buchner appreciates Schwabe's updates on legislation and encourages more engagement from the oil industry.
