Scope and Contents

The document is a correspondence between B. B. Spears, Chairman of the Legislative Board of the Order of Railway Conductors, and A.L. Warren, Secretary to Congressman George B. Schwabe. Spears is requesting support for Senate Bill 293 and H. R. 1316, amendments to the Railway Retirement and Unemployment Insurance Act and Carrier Taxing Act, which he believes will be beneficial for postwar programs. Warren acknowledges the letter and assures that it will be directed to Congressman Schwabe upon his return to Washington.
