Scope and Contents
The first text is a letter from Charles Claypool expressing his opposition to bureaucracy and support for American ideals, while criticizing those who support socialism and communism. The second text is a letter from James M. Staten to George B. Schwabe expressing disagreement with Schwabe's stance on the O.P.A. and warning of the negative effects of eliminating price controls. Staten criticizes Schwabe for playing politics and making a mess of the government.
