Abolishing Rent Controls: A Constituent's Plea, 1946-11-25
Scope and Contents
Mr. Jackson wrote a letter to Congressman Schwabe urging him to abolish rent controls, stating that they are preventing the creation of adequate housing for veterans and others. The Secretary of Congressman Schwabe responded, thanking Mr. Jackson for his letter and assuring him that the Congressman will be made aware of his views upon his return to Washington.
