Request for Rigid Rent Control Legislation for Veterans, 1946-07-06
Scope and Contents
Mr. A. L. Walker of Miami, Oklahoma sent a telegram to Congressman George B. Schwabe requesting rigid rent control for the benefit of veterans. Schwabe acknowledged the request and explained the legislative process regarding rent control and the O.P.A. He mentioned his sympathy towards veterans due to his family members being veterans, and thanked Walker for his input.
