The Unfair Treatment of Small Businesses by the Office of Price Administration, 1946-06-19

Scope and Contents

The document is a letter from Don W. Lyon to Honorable George Schwabe expressing disapproval of the proposed extension of O.P.A. Lyon shares a story about two grocers who were fined by O.P.A. for a minor violation, questioning the fairness of the administration. Lyon believes that Congress did not intend for O.P.A. to be administered in such a way and calls for relief for the unfair treatment of the people. Lyon also thanks Schwabe for his support in the matter.
